Slapped it on tonight. Ended up wrapping to see how it works. Got a 1ft x 5ft piece of 3m 1080 gloss black. Cut it in half to make two 6 inch x 5ft sheets and used less than one and a half of them to cover the lip in 3 parts. Center and then each side wing.

I was trying very hard not to drill it but in the end it is the only way to make it fit snug and look right. So here it is. I will drive with it tomorrow and am hoping no noise or scraping issues

 

One last tip....buy yourself a box of medium size binder clips to hold the lip in place before drilling or test fitting. They work great at making it a simple job

 

Good news. After a couple days of driving with the lip, there are no issues. Zero extra noticable wind noise and no flopping or screws coming off at high speed runs Very happy with it.

 

did you use some self taping screws?

 

It came with some screws that were maybe 3/4 of an inch. I just clipped the lip in place and drilled them in. That bumper plastic lets them in with no problem.

 

Was the lip even centered once you align the 2 push screws? Or did you have to measure/eyeball to align prior to installing the self tapping screws?

 

There are 2 tabs on the lip that are secured to the underside with factory screws, so install those first and that will get you centered and then I did the outer edge screws to get the lip to match up with the bumper extents and then filled in the middle.

 

How did you black out the front grill chrome area?
