I just wanted to share what I completed for a simple $70 modification in comparison to a midpipe of a $400 value. My thinking was that I could modify stock piece and still achieve a deeper sound. Already installed is a Invidia exhaust.
One down
Resonator delete complete
While the Invidia exhaust provided a beautiful sound, I wanted a little more. With Invidia Exhaust you have a beautiful sound with no "bad" noise in cabin. Since I wanted more, I deleted resonator. Now the vehicle does have a much deeper/aggressive sound. NOTE this creates more noise in cabbin. Give more of a performance feel compared to that "luxury" stock.
If interested I could post a sound club of it now if interested. I did not take video of it prior. Tons of Invidia clips out, so my video would be Invidia + resonator delete.
Just wanted to share for those of you thinking about the mod to be aware. I am super happy but I know some of you don't want a louder cabin.
Sounds awesome Bossles. Any drone inside the cabin now while on the highway?. BTW how was the invidia axle back before the resonator delete. Is there a noticeable difference over stock? Youtube videos are so hard to judge.

I am not familiar with the "drone" inside. Let me try to explain sound best as possible.
Invidia Exhaust only - subtle sound, with high RPM growl.
With Resonator Delete - low speed growl in car, and high RPM growl.
Resonator delete created like a humming growl inside as you accelerate. The car did not have enough sound from what I expected out of exhaust alone. Don't get me wrong, outside it sounded great, but I wanted more of a sport sound. The resonator delete game me that. As you coast it goes back to being the subtle sound.
As mentioned before. Invidia Exhaust alone would keep it in "luxury" sound. I would say resonator delete put it in the "sport" sound category.
Looks great! I've heard his car in person with just the Nvidia Axleback. Like he said, it's very subtle and not overpowering. You can even say it was from the factory at normal speeds/driving.

Can't wait to hear this thing in person!!!
Most definitely, we will plan something soon and get a bite to eat at the same time.
This sounds awesome! I have the full Invidia exhaust (midpipe and axle back setup). How do you suppose it would sound if I delete the resonator? To your point, it sounds really good once you get the rpms up but at idle and low speeds it's really quiet. Looking for that low rpm/idle growl like you've got in the video...

If you have full exhaust I would be hesitant to chop up Invidia Mid Pipe. I would recommend modifying your stock one instead. I modified stock one for $70 vs purchasing Invidia mid pipe for $400+. There is not much different from modified to Invidia mid pipe.
Invidia comes with a smaller resonator.... but as I said I wouldn't chop it up.
Found these 2 vids on youtube for comparison that have the full invidia exhaust set up. Definitely using the modified stock midpipe with the resonators removed with the Invidia Axelback has more growl on idle (if you wanted that effect).
I'm a bit confused on the title of those videos. According to the title, they are both full systems.
Someone correct me if I am wrong....
Invidia Exhaust and Midpipe is considered a full system. Note, the true missing piece to make full is headers, but this is not taken into consideration. I would only imagine headers making it even louder as our headers I believe have the cats installed. No CAT, more HP, more VROOOOOOMMM sound.
