Congrats! I know I commented on your thread in the ES forum.
The ES is all well and good, but now you're going to experience what Lexus really offers. The ES and RX don't really give you the full package. The solidity and refinement isn't there like you have in the upper level vehicles, the GS and LS and GX and LX. The IS and RC even too.

I thought so too but it seems that is a mistake on the website or the dealer was just telling me that. It shows to be an option over the AFS and does come with a price. When I asked about it I was told it's only available on the F. Either way I would have had to order it and I wouldn't have gotten the deal that I did.

So we got the clear bra installed this Friday and did a road trip to College Station on Saturday morning. I am still amazed at the butter smoooth ride and how comfortable the seats are in this car. Also my remaining mileage estimate is starting to normalize and showing less milage remaining than the first tank of fuel showed.
Overall this car is a signicant step up from the ES and we are really enjoying it.

They used Nano Fusion material and did the entire hood, bumper, fenders, mirrors, and A pillars. It cost $945 and took about 3.5 hours to do. I am really surprised how well the bumpers came out as there are a bunch of compound curves and sharp angles to cover. Of course depending on the type of material and the installer your price may vary.

Of course, it is more work and requires more details. I believe the GS headlamps (HID or LED) are rated as a 4/5 stars in terms of difficulty on Xpel's product page. Shouldn't be an issue for any installer though because the bumper on our cars is rated a 5/5 in terms of difficulty.

I would highly recommend getting the headlamps covered because it keeps your headlamps looking pristine all the time. Plus, headlights have the potential to get scratched by all sorts of debris that can kick up from the road. My favorite thing though: it prevents the headlamps from the oxidization process from constant sun exposure and moisture from building up inside the headlamps, so you won't have any of that "haziness" that makes your car look old/used.
Hope this helps,
