Did they cover the headlights? My friend has a Viper and a new Grand Cherokee and his installer won't cover headlights. I forgot to ask him why his Expel guy wouldn't do it.
My headlights are covered. I ran into a couple installers who said they don't do headlights. Just crossed them off my list.
Do you know if anyone makes precut templates for the lenses so that I can just install them myself? I don't want to bring it back to the installer just for that. You got me thinking that a may want to do this too.
The only reason installers do not recommend it on headlights is because it can cause them to crack due to stress. HEAT/COLD causes the headlight to expand and contract. So with the film on it, it can prevent it from doing so. Seen a few headlights get cracked from films. But IMHO, I would still put the film on it. It will help prevent yellowing of the headlight from the sun. It is also recommended to wax your lights with the car, because they also have a clear coat on them that can fail.
I installed the spoiler yesterday so here are some pictures with the spoiler. It's a pretty subtle look as it blends in well and does not distract from the lines of the car. I installed per factory instructions so I did drill the trunk and bolt it on. Everything was pretty easy except I did have a couple of the tape tabs that broke off when I was trying to remove them. The tabs had actually separated from the tape backing based on the way it was packed from Lexus. They stuck to the foam protective packing in the box. I had to put them back on before I installed the spoiler so that I could get to them once it was mounted with the bolts. Bottom line is that it installed and lined up perfectly.

How much did the spoiler set you back? Did it come painted? Car looks great!
