Yeah it sounds like he really took a bath on the trade. Unless it had 100k on the clock and was a base model stripper, they gave him nothing.

Well, it is what it is. I'm sure he's moving on from this.

But damn.

Where are you finding GS going for 24K?

I just made a deal to trade in my 15 GS-Crafted Line for an RC350-I pick it up Saturday. They gave me a trade in value of $39,800. I really was not expecting that. They originally offered $37,500 then $38,500,then as I started to leave they offered my $39,500. I told the sales manager $39,800 and I will sign right now. I'm glad I negotiated because I would have took the $37,500.

Let's not judge the guy... Lol

$25k isn't be too bad for a base model with a good amount of miles on okay condition It's a trade-in.

My car will have a residual value of $30k after 3 years n 36k miles. These cars don't keep their value well. Even then, the dealer will probably have to add CPO package to get that much
My car was in good condition, had a paint scrape on the back bumper with 65k miles. KBB said it was worth 24-26

I'm in Louisiana 2013 GS with 30k miles are asking for 29k. Mine had 65k miles ( I'm a driver ) so the deal on the trade I guess was fair. Not great but fair

I see the resale value of this car keeps getting worse. I'll just keep leasing and let Toyota eat the loss.

Can I ask the reasoning behind the SRT-8? It feels like you are going backwards... I mean if I was growing up, which I am, and having kids, which I have, I would think a smart, sophisticated, gas efficient car would be the GS... Now I am not knocking the choice, the reason I ask is because I was considering a Hell Cat before I got my GS but I thought, well I have kids and economically speaking the hell cat wont be the right choice... did I miss something that could have got me the Hell Cat?? I wouldn't mind 707HP

The one thing you're missing is the driving experience. The SRT is 10x more fun to drive with all the extra Hp and Tq. The only thing I regret is leaving a cd with a copy of all my wedding photos in the car. And after down payment I'm saving about $375 a month extra. So who cares about MPG.

Don't trade in the SRT when its time to get the mini van. Almost all Chrysler vehicles take a nose dive when it comes to depreciation.

Good Bye-photo43.jpg

My car is selling for 28k on their lot. I think 25k trade in was fair now that I see what it's selling for.

I just checked Auto Trader and it seems like once ur passed 60K miles the value drops to the $20K range for the 2013 model. 2013/14 with miles under 50K can still be in the $30K range (both FSport and non FSport).

This is one is like mine with same mileage and only $35K, that means dealer value will be only ~$30K. Ooooh... the GS tanked really hard nowadays.
