Note those prices are for non certified cars at different brand dealers also.

Certified GS:

I only see under 50K miles, is there a max mileage to qualify for certified?

So if you buy certified you'll still get screwed because if you return to trade it in you'll get the same valve as a non certified

Yes...when you buy a car and sell it down the line it's worth less.

I just don't seen going from the GS to a Charger. Chargers look cool I guess, and you say it's cheaper monthly payments for now which is true, but wait until things start going wrong.

Hope you got a good warranty on it, that's all. After seeing what happened with Dodge vehicles my family has owned and looking at them on Consumer Reports, I'll never own one. One of the least reliable auto brands IMO.

That being said, it's your money and your life, whatever makes you happy. Hope you enjoy it!

Yes lexus seems to depreciate very fast, that is my opinion. I bought my first brand new Lexus on August 30 2014 Gs 350 f sport awd. Bought it for 58k plus the sale tax and on March 27 this year I want it to trade it in for the new 2016. First I went to NADA.com and look up the value of the car, it was valued at 38k. It already seem like a low price to m, seeing that the car was bought only a year and half ago. Then i went to the dealer and tried to negotiate with them but, They were not willing to offer me the value of the car based on NADA. They first offer me 32 and after a little bit of going back and forward with one of the managers not a sale person, the most he when up was to 34. I didnt accept that so Finally he told me that he would not be able to offer me more than that because he would not even be able to sell the car for the kind of money that I want it, got up shook my hand and that was it. Almost forgot to mention that my car is in immaculate condition, at the time it was dead stock, only had 27k miles and had all my services done at that same dealer.

All new luxury cars depreciate at a significant rate. If you trade any car in after a year and a half you're going to get killed on the depreciation. If you want to spread out that depreciation curve you need to keep it longer.

This is why I buy a slightly used car and let someone else take the hit.

You can also lease a CPO... In fact, CPO GSs have the best lease program that LFS offers.

We sold 2 GSs on Saturday, leased both of them.
