i forgot to ask, when you installed the strut bar, you had to remove the two places to install it. What are those pieces and what did you do with said piece?

Thank you for your answer and I am hoping to gain sharper /handlingturning by installing just the strut bar and get RSR coils later, do you think the strut bar itself will suffice?

They've "made" intakes before. What I meant was I didn't know they "make" it for the '13+ GS.

No comment on HPS.

whoa those gains from a $170 mod? if those claims are true i'm definitely picking one up.

OP have you noticed any gains with the intake?

I'm sure I will enjoy it, but that HPS intake tube looks sweet and its half the price of the one I just bought! Plus it utilizes that factory sound generator. mrpartsman does it sound the same or is it there a notable difference in sound?

for anyone intereted in the HPS Shortram Post MAF Intake heres a link...

how are you liking your Takeda CAI?

Nice mods! I got the Apexi throttle controller installed in my car as well. I'm still contemplating whether to purchase the HPS intake or not. Did you notice any significant gains with the new intake? Does the car sound different with the new intake installed?

I believe he stated that there was no sound difference as it will utilize the sound generator from the stock.

How are you liking the Apexi throttle controller>

The Apexi is amazing specially on red, man you can feel it, and the best way I tried it, I had it off and as soon as I turned it on the pedal feel is quick responsive.

The apex i throttle controller is an amazing product. Yes it doesn't add horsepower but it makes your drive more enjoyable by getting rid of the dreaded throttle lag
