Lexus Software Updates...
#17
at the bottom of the page under the download link it tells you what the update is.
and I mentioned it in my first post in this thread. It is to fix glitches in the operating system that cause the nav unit to freeze and require a hard reset or key cycle to get it unfrozen. this download is just a simple way for you to do it yourself instead of making a trip to the dealer for it.

I updated to the latest version as of today:
Version V15A8872
The update released on: Aug 17 2015
I didn't have any issues before the update, but this is what I noticed so far after the update.
The warning/continue screen to Nav takes about a second instead of 4 seconds like it used to.
The cursor/pointer on screen is MUCH smoother.
The menu loads a bit faster it seems like.. maybe 0.4 seconds from 0.7 seconds..
These are the differences I noticed right away in the 3 minutes I had the car on. I will check out the navigation speed/voice command improvements as days go on.
P.S. I had to try 2 different type of USB drives. The first 8gb one didn't work for some reason, but the second drive (4GB) worked like a charm..
