Default May 2016 GS350 F-Sport Leases

So what are people offering on the cars these days? I've heard Lexus is putting $3k towards the 2016's, and the MF is 54% for 3 year and 12k/year. I noticed that lexus is offering $559/36 months with $3,509 down and $669/36 months $0 down. Just curious what others are getting/offered? I know the $399/499 monthly payments are over, but trying to find what I should expect this weekend.

I miss the $500s with zero down leases. Good times!

We ended up getting a 2016 USB F-Sport this past weekend.

MSRP: $61,655
Discount: $5000
Loyalty Cash: $3000
Tax Credit Savings: ~$3000
Residual for 3/36 is 56%
Zero Down, monthly payments around $670

I am considering leasing one of these as well. What is the tax credit savings? Also, is there that much in loyalty cash right now? I didn't think it was that high.

Hi fellow (former) Viper owner!

In Texas, when you lease a car, you have to pay 6.25% sales tax on the entire value of the car, and you pay it again on the residual if you buy the car off of lease (it's stupid, I know). I don't know exactly how they work, but with the tax credits, I only pay around $538 in tax. It may not apply for other states in your calculations, but $3k is over $80/monthly here.

Yes, at least in Texas, the Lexus Loyalty cash was $3,000 and we had to fill out a form to apply for it.

I'm surprised that with a $8,000 discount and tax credits the lease payment is that high. Am I missing something?

BTW, I have leased many cars in Texas and know all, about tax credits. All I can say is that Texas is a very bizarre state for taxes on leases, but if tax credits are available it's a heck of a deal. They are not always available though. Dealers only get so many tax credits a month that they can give.

My deal was similar. I bought about 3 weeks ago. 2016 GS350 Fsport
MSRP - 57000
Purchase Price - 50700
$3000 Loyalty Cash (Lease)
1% Sales Tax
I did the one pay lease - 20K for 3 year / 45k miles
54% residual / .00060 MF
Roughly $550 / month

Thanks for the info. I don't think we get the tax credit in MD, we just pay the 6% tax on the purchase price of the car up front, even for leases. I have contacted a few dealers and they didn't know about the $3k loyalty so I will have to go to the dealer and see if it applies to me since I am a current Lexus owner.

As for the Viper, I had it for 10+ years and finally got rid of it when I had kids and needed something they could enjoy too. I recognize your screen name from the various Viper forums and love the launch edition. If my kids were old enough to ride in the front seat I would have either a launch edition (since I am partial to blue/white) or a TA. The Viper is either a car you get or don't get and most people don't get it.

I'm thinking of getting back into another GS when my lease is up. When you mention Loyalty Cash of $3000, is this the discount they offered for getting back into a Lexus or meaning down payment? Did you down anything?

I think it's typically referred to as "Lease cash"....so it reduces the capitalized cost.

It was higher than my 2013 for sure, but haven't seen others getting/posting better deals, so this is what I agreed to.

The LE is world's different than the Gen 2 cars, but still embodies everything we love about Vipers. Heck, even upgrading from my 2008, it was a massive upgrade. The TA's are great cars, but the LE's can be had for a great price, and still are heavily desired. I weighed between an orange TA or a LE (both were new) and decided on the LE because of the stereo, upgraded leather, stripes, color combo, etc.

Loyalty cash can be applied wherever you want, but you get it for being a current Lexus owner (we have two, so that wasn't an issue).
