Anyone with G2 have application advice? How to avoid brush strokes?

As an alternative to paint, I'm looking into calliper wrap. Seems new and unique, but I'm unsure of its durability. Researching this, and the stuff used looks like 3M Scotchlite 680 series vinyl? Anyone know. Folks are offering it for sale for calliper wrapping, but I'm not convinced it will hold up over time. Anyone seen a wrap job with this stuff after a few years? How's it holding up?

Had a shop paint mine for $250. Not worth the time of trouble to do it myself.

G2 is some pretty good stuff. I used it on my ES and had no issues with brush strokes. Just don't pile it on too thick. it is very durable as well. I want to do my GS but there is a pad or something on the surface of the caliper that I am not sure if I can remove. Has anyone tried removing that?

Love thte yellow and the orange. I feel like the Yellow would be popping on Obsidian like Big has it done. Orange could do it too, not sure about blue/green - would just make my eyes roll i guess? thoughts on what else to go with obsidian?
