Yes, these are the same part number I purchased:

The picture does not display the decoder, but again it's the same part number I ordered.

Which bulbs are these? They look way brighter then mine. Mine was the basis $40 ijdm one

EDIT: think we have the same bulbs lol, guess mine are that bright too

Thanks for this. I just did mine and it took about 30 minutes. 16-17 appears to be much easier than 13-15.

thanks for the great instructions. I swapped mine out today and had no trouble other than some scraped hands from the fronts. The rubber housing on the LED units takes a bit of work to get it to "seat" but it's obvious when they fully pop into place. Maybe overkill, but I wrapped the connection between the old bulb base and the new connector.

I ordered the amber for the rear, but the OEM bulbs were white when I removed them. I wonder if the white LED are any brighter than the amber ones? I ordered mine a month or so ago and although they light amber, they look white when off, so no "egg yolk" look when viewing the front ones through the clear housing.

Whoa whoa whoa.. hold up.. rear fogs?!? How?? Where?? I'm obsessed with lighting; especially rear fogs.. I know this post is an older one.. anyone else do something like this??

I'll also be looking into changing out the rear amber bulbs to LED amber bulbs

I ordered the same one..either they changed it up or it was always a resistor attached. The bulb is different too. Box is 20-001. resistor is the gold color as seen in in the pictures provided in the link above.

I have the V Leds for the rear, think I'm going with the V Leds Switch Backs for the front. Also V Leds for the front marker lights.

yeah that right there is a resistor that actually gets hot! Be careful where you mount that. It’s for sure not a decoder box.

I ended up with these too. So there is a problem mounting wedging these in the trunk liner?

Is there a hyperflash effect on a later model gs (where the only non led bulb is the front indicator)?

I'd prefer just a simple T20 bulb in a factory socket, e.g.:

Thanks!

This is my solution where to hang the resistors. They do get very hot, i am afraid they might cause fire. Where do you guys hang these things?

Before I upgraded to GSF tail lights I used double sided tape and mounted it to the metal behind the trunk liner. No need to have it hanging inside the trunk.

The weather is nice now and this is an upgrade I've wanted to do for a while. But this seems like such a pain and also don't look forward to dealing with a resistor smh. I already converted my rear turn signals to super bright LEDS with a built in load resistor but I won't be able to install those same bulbs in the front without hyperflash. Has anyone had success with a decoder with their bulbs?
