L/Certified and AAA?

L/Certified and AAA?
Is there any point to paying for AAA if I have an L/Certified 2013 GS 350? I bought it in March of this year, and I'm pretty sure I remember reading that the L/Certified program comes with road-side assistance. Just wondering if there is anything AAA offers over this or if I should just let my AAA expire until the end of my 2 year L/Certified program.

I'm aware that my current membership follows me, but what I'm asking is should I keep my existing membership since when you buy an L/Certified vehicle you get 2 years of roadside assistance. I just don't want to be paying for the same thing twice essentially.

My battery actually died today while away on a trip and I called the Lexus certified roadside assistance number. They were helpful and dispatched a local service affiliated with AAA. Obviously, Lexus has partnered with AAA's network. They boosted my battery (not sure why it died but I suspect I left something on but will investigate and have my battery stress tested).
I also have AAA because the Lexus certification will eventually expire and and I like the overall benefits of AAA membership. If all you use it for is "peace of mind" for driving your own car and all you do is really drive your own car and never use their discounts, then having AAA isn't necessary.
