Would like to be able to get into the vehicle after remote start without the engine shutting off when I unlock the door. Is there any settings that would override the shutoff upon unlocking. I understand that the car will run for 10 minutes when it is started with enform remote or the keyfob. I also understand reasoning for the car being locked and engine will be stopped when door is opened to avoid someone from driving off with the car. Seems like additional wear and tear on the vehicle to restart.

Unfortunately it's just a characteristic of the Lexus remote start system and it cannot be changed.
