Farewell Lexus...
Hard to imagine it;s been 4.5 years since I leased my first GS350 F-Sport. Loved the car so much I leased another GS 2 years later. I was thinking of even saying in the Lexus family with either an RC-F or RX350 F-Sport, but RC-F leases were too high and as much as I love the looks of the RX, didn't think was for me, not yet at least.
I had a few cars in mind, but the new Q50 Red Sport 400 was the 'smartest' choice for me. The car just came out but there are already good lease programs for it so I pulled the trigger on a Majestic White Q50 Red Sport 400.
Overall I am thoroughly impressed with the car, while the interior and fit/finish is not as nice as the GS, and the inside is definitely more cramped, the power makes up for it. This thing moves! With a TT V6 generating 400 hp, this is a very fun car to drive. Shifts are very fast and handles/brakes extremely well too. Has full wraparound cameras and some driver assists, so technology wise it has great features as well. I will definitely burn through more tires with the Q50 than the GS, traction control immediately kicks in as soon as you floor it in 1st gear.
Here are a few pics.
Lexus definitely needs to step it up with a TT for the GS350 as the NA motor is definitely becoming outdated.
Overall I will really miss the GS, one of the rare cars I fell in love with at first sight, but I'm sure the Q50 will be just fine too

I'm in the same boat looking at the red Sport also. RC leases are crap, GS leases are crap, everything is tight at Lexus right now so their sales must be doing fine. My lease ends next month and unless something magical happens financially in the next few weeks I'll probably have a red Sport also. Might be able to get a last second Xerox bonus to get it at invoice also.

Nice! We have the regular Q50.. Right before they came out with that engine.
It sounds great with an exhaust and looks great lowered, especially cause the front end.

I got the 2014 Q50 when it came out new in 2013 and drove it around 20k miles before selling it finally. Loved the engine response and handling with the typical infinti mufflers and two displays. It was a good experience end of the day. But I would say compare to the F Sports I have now the GS has more road presence and personality I could be wrong though. Nice ride btw white with black wheels looks very nice.

Great looking car. Like you, I won't be getting another GS because the engine is so weak. I just got an M5 and my wife is now driving the GS350. Not sure what we will replace that with, but it won't be another GS.
