Anyone running OSRAM CBI's on the 4GS?

Our OEM bulbs are too yellow, would 5k be more blue than stock? I want a shade bluer than stock...something similar to the oem RCs and IS
I wouldn't say the 5000k are blue. Its more white than blue. If you are looking for blue, go with 6000k.
Its not that hard. It will be harder if you have big hands. For the passenger side, I did it through the engine bay. For the driver side, I did it through the wheel well. The driver side was a bit harder.
Turn the headlight power to off on the stalk
Remove the engine bay covers to replace passenger side
Turn your wheel all the way to the right. There is a small panel with 2 10MM screws in the wheel well. Remove this panel to replace the driver side to replace the driver side. I also had to jack up my car because my car is lowered.
Remove the metal cap by turning it counter click wise
Unplug the power source from the cap
Unplug the harness from the lightbulb by turning it counter clock wise
Remove the clip holding the bulb in place. You are doing this blind so if you don't know what the clip looks like, it may be difficult.
Remove the light bulb carefully. Remember the position of the light bulb when removing it because you will have to insert the new one in the same position
Remove the clip holding the bulb in place (you are doing this blind so if you dont know what the clip looks like, it will be difficult)
Remove the bulb.
Insert the new bulb and reverse the steps above.

5000k is worth it. I compared side by side with another stock gs and it was brighter and more white, not blue. If you want more blue, go 6000k garax. I had these in my last Gs. Great bulbs but not that great in the rain. Have yet to test the CBI in the rain.

Did not get around to this yet. Daughter was bugging me about building her a stage for her singing practice and that is what I spent a few hours on Sunday doing instead of the bulbs.
We will see if I spend part of next Sunday building the removable puppet show fascia and curtain structure or putting in the CBI bulbs.....
