If you're not opposed to it, going the used route is a good way too. I purchased a 2014 for 28,000 with 45K miles on it. Still under bumper-bumper warranty and power-train until 72K miles. You can purchased one with less miles for 32 to 34K as well.
It may not be an F-Sport but it'll be most of what you get for an F-Sport. Also, buy vehicles that are coming off leases. Maintenance packages are given with the initial sale and your first 5 services will definitely be done.
These cars are pretty solid and it isn't impossible that you will make it last to 200K miles if you keep up with maintenance.

Keep in mind the California deals are insane. We don't get them in the rest of the country but you could always make a deal and have it transported to your house for about 800 bucks depending on your location.

I agree with Afrosheen,
People here are talking about $6000 reasonable. Why not buy it from CA and have it shipped or even drive it back.
It's not just one person that has got close to 20%. So it is definitely doable.
I am waiting for December to Remember sales to kick in when the dealer advertises $10k off.
Thank You.

Me too, I bought an off lease 2014 F Sport in Dec. of 2015, 19k miles, L Certified for $39,000 plus fees. MSRP was $58,600.

Which dealership was this? Was this a lease or purchase? If lease what was your total drive off fees? No cash down payment correct? Did you get that price over email or did you had to haggle for a bit at the location?

Picked up a lease turn in last month. Car had every service and was certified pre-owned. It had 30K miles and was 34K out the door. It's a 14' F sport with every option except ML and HUD. Also got the unlimited miles 3 year extended warranty on it. I'd recommend going lease turn in CPO, you'll save $$$$ and not eat the negative equity in a new one.

On my $58K GS I got $5500 plus a $2K discount via my brokerage account. Not 20%, still not bad.
