Default Screen shuts off at high speeds?

New GS 350 F sport owner here, had it for over a week.

I was just driving on I-95 trying to avoid all the stupid Miami drivers and unbeknownst to me i went from 0-100 real quick, radio shuts off and screen shuts off. my question is, is there a way to turn off this safety feature?

That's not normal. If it happens again run it by the dealer.

oh thanks, i actually panicked because the radio stopped playing music and the whole big screen shut off for a second until i went down to normal speed 75/70 mph and pressed the menu button and it turned on again

might have to go fast again to test it out

thanks

In order to be sure you replicated the problem correctly, you have to go over 100 this time...

Good problem to have. Now you have an excuse to go over 100 MPH!

Nice safety feature. No screen, no distraction at high speeds.

On a serious note, try recreating a problem (safely), and if you'll able to, then go to your dealer, show them the problem.

Did you happen to just start the car? And immediately get on the freeway? Im guessing it had nothing to do with your rate of speed. Mine would randomly reboot after driving a bit before the update

Def not normal, I have been to Miami and traveled around 128mph when I had my 13 GS and that never occurred so its something else maybe a glitch, I would get it checked by the dealer.

Officer, I was just trying to debug a software problem. I had a valid reason to go over 100 MPH :-)
