You will for sure get the deductible back and again only have your car repaired by Lexus and use OEM parts.
Well, not exactly..... If he decides to go through his insurance, his policy guidelines and limits apply even if the insurance company is going to get reimbursed by the other insurance company. So the OEM vs. aftermarket line item in your policy applies as well as your rental car crappy limits. If their insurance is picking up the tab from the get go, you are not limited by the other parties (or your) policy limitations so you can state you only want OEM and want an 'equivalent' rental vehicle and that is appropriate.

That is why some insurance companies want the other parties insurance to cover the costs first and then reimburse the bill so it will limit costs by forcing the insured person to have 'limits' applied to them.

When my Acura MDX got involved in a fender bender, our insurance car rental policy stated we had to get an "equivalent" vehicle. So, I got a nice black Cadillac Escalade for the week for my trouble. If it's covered, it's covered.

At that time, it was Auto Club of SoCal. They're not cheap but their service is top notch. No hassles with these guys.

I have Farmers Insurance now. I live in a high risk fire zone in San Diego, nobody but Farmers would insure my house, went with the House/Car combo coverage.

I had AAA as well for my house and car until I moved into an area with hill sides and AAA would not cover the new home due to fire risk even though the area is very well cut back and maintained. I switched to 21st Century for everything (home, car, umbrella) and have been happy and saved a few bucks with slightly lower rates.

Is the rate on your homeowners high or reasonable?

2-3k is a very low estimate for that damage. It'll be full F Sport bumper cover replacement, maybe a new hood since it's bent, and the front quarter isn't looking too good either. It's gonna need paint if not a replacement then paint. Not sure about that front wheel either. I'd guess 5-6k for starters.
