For my first mod, I chose to get the q300 axle back exhaust. I finally installed it to today and am satisfied so far. It definitely sounds louder than stock but it's not overbearing. However, I have a few of my questions below that I hope people can answer for me. Thank you all.
- Do I need to reset the ECU or is it just plug and play?
- Is the donut gasket (in between midpipe and axle back joint) supposed to show? The donut gasket that came in the box is thicker than the stock (old) gasket and it creates a slight gap. Even though there is a gap, the gasket appears to be sealing everything. I'm pretty sure I installed the spring loaded bolts and nuts correctly but I just wanted to double check.
- How long does it take to get the burning plastic smell to go away?

if its the axle back only just use the supply exhaust donuts and use the stock bolt and spring but use the nut they provide and make sure its tight. thats how i installed mines and it sounds great

dont worry about that once all the rubber hanging are on the axle back barely has room to move around its not gonna fall off
