Default Genuine Lexus Japan GS Remote Touch Switch ****

Has anybody tried this **** on their GS? My stock **** is a little scuffed up and I'm looking to replace it. Will the Japan **** work in our cars?

http://lexusboutique.net/?pid=1445645

Or where can I order a new stock ****?

You can get the stock **** from the dealer. I think there has been a past post stating it was around $40. The Japan one should fit too. It's very easy to change, all you have to do is pull straight up on the old one and press down on the new one.

Some other folks have done swaps.

I couldn't find the other thread, but I specifically remember somebody switching to the 2016 style, which I think is the same as you have pictured.

What is the difference between the new ones and my old one (2013 gs)?

If it's only 10 bucks i might make the switch.

I rather pay 10 bucks than the $25 for the JDM one and then $25 to ship it.

Okay, so I now understand the difference between the old one and the new one.

Question now is: Is the new USDM version the same as the new JDM version?

Thanks fellas

I just realized it's made in Japan also usually the small accessories are made in other places.

The installation was super easy. Like @dchar said you just pull straight up and doesn't take much force at all. It took less than 2 minutes to swap out and take the pics haha.

Looks like the old **** has a larger footprint than the new one. In terms of gripping or using it, any noticeable differences? The pointing and clicking can already be somewhat jumpy as it is, I am hoping the new one doesn't take away from the feedback by being smaller.
