The GS is a great car to buy used now. I don't know if that's the case in terms of trading it in or trying to sell. Looks like you'd get gouged.

I came from the '12 TL SH-AWD. You are really shooting yourself in the foot if you even consider buying the FWD version of that car. Your MPG is not going to be that much greater, and I can say that the current GS I now own is actually getting slightly better MPG than the Acura due to the weight differences. The SH-AWD has one of the best all wheel drive systems out there in my opinion, and it is definitely a darkhorse in that segment (Audi Quattro always gets the praises, but SH-AWD was engineered brilliantly). That's the only way to go the TL, and they can be found for pretty good deals now that the TLX is out, making the TL look much more dated.

As far as creature comforts go...the TL had a lot of nice standout features....................in 2012. Now, the tech that comes in that car is not worth losing all the comforts and tech that the GS350 has. The navigation system in my opinion is better than the lexus however. Sharp images, more modern interface when it comes to exit graphics on the highway, and it also includes built in arrows for one way streets on the map (something I REALLY miss now, since I live in downtown Dallas). Other than that, the Lexus wins out in almost every single category in my opinion.

As for as the other makes....no...just...no. Ford Taurus?!?!?!?! That car is a boat, and then when you go inside, it's astonishingly cramped for how big the dimensions look on the outside.

You might like an old used Yugo or a Pontiac Aztec. Why own a GS when you could possibly get better mileage from one these?!?!

Best case scenario you will save 300$ per year on gas driving 12k miles/year.

At that rate, just get a Prius.

I finally decided to accept the GS for what it is but was thinking of trading in for a 15 instead .. Sometimes you just have to live with the choices you made and move on. I will be adding a few subtle touches to the car to my liking soon.
i use 93 BP all the time. And ECO mode is on I burn a full tank in 10-12 days max the only problem with the non f sport is the driver seat is a bit uncomfortable or is it just me?

You crack me up. Still not sure how serious you are or whether you're joking, maybe a bit of both. Regardless, and FWIW, I fully support your decision to keep the GS and accept it for what it is.

I'm glad you decided to keep the GS. I do have to ask after seeing a lot of the threads you've started in the past, did you not research this car in detail before making the purchase? Did you not cross shop the other brands before buying? I'm just curious.

Sometimes my premium seats feel uncomfortable - i wish it had more adjustment in the lumbar support.

@Sevn86 no I did not do any research on this car just bought it blindly.only one other brand I checked out Mercedes Benz e350 price was too high and was giving any kind of incentive.
