I find it not particularly good for battling traffic, quickly switching lanes, etc or maybe it's just me used to driving too aggressively?

Different strokes, per se. My battles with traffic usually involve not getting run over by a gigantic jacked up truck, or dump truck, or rock carrying truck, or somebody texting, or doing make-up, or yelling at the kids, or just generally trying to get there faster than traffic reasonably allows.

I don't always drive fast, but when I do, I go for the gas pedal to the metal.

Do you sit low or high on your seat? How is your chair adjusted? Do you have a commanding view?
