Invidia axleback installed

Invidia axleback installed
I got my order from Lou (ModInJapan) pretty quickly.
My twin brother and I decided to install it and it only took about 1 hour. I ended up using the original "O" gasket because with the one provided with Invidia the stock bolts weren't long enough. I don't have any leak so I'm think I'm good.
The box and the hanger had some damage:
Luckily the hanger is easily fixed. Everything else was perfect.
My brother started wrenching:
Don't worry we had jackstands in there.
Comparison:
And installed:
Overall I am happy with the product and the sound is pretty good when you step on it. On idle there's hardly any difference.

Axle backs give it a deeper tone but the cat back give it a nice throaty sound. One that drowns out the sound generator when you get on it. Yet is quite quiet when running at in town and highway speeds.

I thought adding the mid pipe gave it that raspy sound no one really likes? I heard some dyno videos of a 4GS with a cat-back setup and it sound raspy as hell and def not throaty or deep. I'm interested in doing an exhaust on mine but have put it off due to not knowing which setup will give me the deepest and non raspy sound. Not trying to knock anyone's setup just curious because I want to do mine also.

well atleast very minimal compared to the other exhaust systems. It has something to do with the resonators they match up with the midpipe
