Has lot to do with your driving style, road conditions, I am afraid it has to be your decision. I always stick
with Michelin tires summer, winter for all family vehicles. They are all AWD type. Michelin is the BIGGEST
tire maker in the world. UTQG is helpful for comparing tires.

How are they in the snow? I'm torn between DWS06 and the Pilot Sport A/S+.

I don't have any experience with Continental tires, but I've never had problems with the Pilot Sports. In my driving experience, they've worked well in all of the snow storms we got within the last ten years. Having AWD also is a plus!

Just recieved my awd car from ebay. I see that the tires look to be original with 59k on them! Manufactor date shows july of 2012, pretty crazy! Gotta put some on asap, probably will go with the p7s. Is there a difference between the cintuato p7 as plus and the non plus?

Everything I've read indicates there is a huge difference between the Plus and non-plus. You'll definitely will want the Plus. Higher scores across the board in all categories on TireRack and Consumer Reports and is the top rated tire in its category. Oddly the price of the Plus is usually a little cheaper than the non-plus too.

If it helps, I just purchased new tires for mine (non-F Sport, RWD Luxury package). I couldn't stand the ride/noise of the Bridgestone RE050 tires any longer.

I too was torn between the Mich AS3+ and the Pirelli P7 Cinturato AS Plus. The guy at Discount Tire preferred the Michelin and told me to try them. If i didn't like them, I could swap them for another set within 30-days. So away I went with the AS3+. MUCH quieter than the RE050 tires (even had to use different volume settings for the radio, lol). Seemed to handle/brake as good or better than before. Also, much smoother...but I was still hoping for more so two days ago I swapped the AS3+ for the P7 tires.

Hmmm, it's really close for noise and comfort but I actually think the Michelin tires were better. Now I should say that since getting the P7 tires the temperature in the Dallas area has been cold (it's 37 degrees now). So it might not be a very fair comparison as I got to experience much warmer temperatures with the Michelins (I assume they would be smoother in warmer weather). I plan on keeping the P7 tires so maybe I'll provide an update over the next few weeks when the weather warms up again.

BTW, both tires have a tread-wear warranty. I believe it was 40,000 miles for the Michelins and it's 70,000 miles for the P7 tires.

My favorite over all tire manufacturer over time and all the cars has been Michelin. But I have to say I couldn't be any happier with my P7's (I only had a crappy tire to compare to on the GS). I don't think you could make a bad choice between the two.

What speed rating do you go with on the P7s? They look like they only have H and V rated.

Did alot of back and forth, talked to the discount guys. Was going to go with MXM4's but changed it and will be having Yokohama YK740 GTX installed this afternoon. They were running a promo too on them so it seems like a great deal.

Yes I think you are correct, the P7's have a lower speed rating. The guys at Discount Tire warned me about that and that's why they encouraged me to go with the Michelin AS3+.

Why would you need more than a V rating with this car?

Got the Yokohama YK740 and I'm very happy with them. I'll have to do some more testing, still getting used to this car. Discount has a $70 mail in rebate for a set of these which is great.

I've had Yokohama's on one of my cars in the past and I really liked them. I generally go Michelin but decided to go with something different this time. The MXM4s are also being discontinued at discount and are on sale for $184. When I went to NTB to get a alignment they mentioned as having buy 2 get 2 free with allignment. I don't really like going there for tires for customer service reasons but it may have been cheaper for tires.

Discount Tire Direct usually has better prices with free shipping and rebates than Tire Rack.
