GS recommended tire pressures
#16
To clarify, this morning my tire pressures on TPM S read 33/34 psi respectively front and rear. The outside air temperature was 57°
Edit*. After a 45 min commute home at 70-80mph they are all at 36-37psi.

Those PSI's are too high in my opinion.. Firstly, what I wrote about earlier is the inaccuracies of the tire pressure guages these days including the "Digital" type. Typically the average (Auto Parts store) guage is 2 to 3 LBS off and usually 2 to 3 LBS off in terms of reading low. There are only a few guages that I trust and one is most accurate such as "TSI". All others are not worth the purchase. Yes, you may need to spend as much as $75.00 to $100.00..
Tire pressure is underrated.. Too much and suspension life is cut short, rattles and sqeaks are amplified in the interior over time and tires wear unevenly. Too little, tires wear unevenly.
I personally check mine once every two weeks via the TPMS sensors they are as accurate as a master guage or as close as you could get.

I pump my tires at the local gas station to 3-4 psi over what I want the cold pressure to be. The next morning I drop all 4 tires down to the target pressure, using one of the pocket gauges. I know these gauges are not particularly considered to be accurate, but mine seems OK. The numbers I see from the TPMS are all within 1 psi of what the gauge showed.
I find that every 10 degree F change in temperature corresponds to roughly 1 PSI
