I followed every instruction but cant even get the dash indicator lit, and that's the part I was sure about. Should the indicator light work once I connect N28Pin 10 ->N28Pin 19 and N28Pin 11 ->N12Pin 27?

Under the hood, the kit I bought merged the two hot into one wire and two grounds into one, so I attached the ground to the body via one of the grounding screws and the other to BA2 Connector Pin40. It should not matter that the 4 wires were merged into 2, should it? I also found a diagram in Chilton DIY that showed the fog lights plugged into No.2 Integration Relay 2BPin 3 and 9. My question here is, are the BA2 39,40 pins connected to the No2 Integration Relay 2B 3,9pins on the backplane?

Anyone's help will be much appreciated. Thank's in advance.
Not to necro a really old thread but I'm doing this diy this weekend and with my bad luck one of the pins I purchased for the BA2 connector snapped off. Is this correct that I don't have to use both 39 and 40 and can just use one or the other? As my kit purchased from Nigel merges both the hot and ground wires into one as well.
Edit: Nevermind, my apologies found the post finally that I was looking for in the DIY thread. Can use only pin 39 or 40; however, terminal pins are still to large and will need to order different ones. Sorry for the necro bump, my search skills suck this morning.

Okay, I am reviving this dead horse because I'm going to install Nigel's OEM stalk kit on my 16 soon. I think I have the right idea with wiring, but I could dude some clarification:

I'm powering the lights with the supplies inline fuse and wiring under the hood - passing the single signal wire through the firewall into the cabin. Then, am I connecting it to the supplied switch harness but cutting off the plug to use the wires elsewhere?

I understand I have to connect (N28) pins 10 and 19 together (both ground), and I have to run a wire from Pin 11 to the N12 module, so does that mean the power wire coming from the under-hood relay needs to connect to pin 9 (N28) ?

Could the single yellow switch wire coming through the firewall be connected to pin 9 and everything else be the same? Nigel's kit will work perfectly for the included switch (lights powered under hood, switch powered under dash, switch wire running through firewall), but I'm having trouble understanding what do to with the switch wire after it comes into the cabin if I want to use the OEM stalk.

Thanks in advance. Once I can understand it, I'll make a 2016 write-up.

So I purchased the N28 connector from ebay and started to play with the different wiring set up.where does pin 9 connect too? switch has 3 pins. Pin 10 & 11 break the circuit . that's how the fogs turn on/off. Is pin 9 for the dash indicator?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Repair-termi...368&rmvSB=true

The only way I could have the fog lights turn on was when I wired them to pin 10 and 11.

Pin 9 or 19 has no power coming out.

I just left with this set up for now so at least I can turn on/off the fog using stalk.

I wish I can look at the wire set up on non-Fsport model to finish this project.

This is what I did today to get my fogs to work on my 2019 f_Sport. added 2 wire.

This is how I have the power connected to fog relay. Red wire is to fuse 10. This is a blank fuse.Has 1 terminal. fuse it there to hold wire only. This give power to fog lights. The white is to power on the relay. Connecting it here, gives me a couple on second that the fogs stay on. have a video on how they work. The only wire going inside the car is the ground cable from the relay. that's where I connected the ground wire to the oem fog switch.

Just to be clear on how you see the pins. I was a bit confused.

You can control your fogs even on parking mode?
I thought it can only be controlled when headlights are on, no?

no. I haven’t messed with that yet. From what I read here, the pin 27 needs ground. I will have to try that next.

I believe you can have one or the other.

Full control without indicator or full control when low beams are on with dash indicator.
