Default F-sport Fog light OE stalk installation questions (update)

I am installing OE stalk for the fog lights. Purchased non F-sport stalk from the dealer.

I want to have fog light indicator on the instrument panel, like PK_Celsior

I've researched numerous thread, even IS forum to see if there is good DIY or wiring diagram where to tap the wire, but didn't find any.

The only source I found was from PK_Celsior, and sent him a PM, no respond.

N28 Connector (Fog Light Switch)

N12 Connector (Main Body ECU or Multiplex Network Body ECU)
According to his tread, Pin10 & 19 sounds like fog on & off switch, and pin 11 needs to be connected to Pin 27 on N12 connector for indicator on the dash.

But when I pulled the stalk connector, slot 19 already has a plug, but #20 is empty.

Also, when I was comparing my stalk with, fog light stalk and I noticed fog light stalk has 3 extra pins (#10, 11, 12).

So I am assuming 10, 11, 12 are related to the fog light function.

Could pin #10 & #11 should be switch on & off? (not sure what #12 is)

Any help would be appreciated.

I am going to play around with the pin #9, #10, #11, #20 and see what happens.

Hopefully, I can get the switch to work and have the indicator to be on.

Good luck. Could you take a few pics of how you got to that harness (what panels had to be removed, etc)? I think one of the pins are loose with my setup. The indicator comes on but the fogs are intermittent.

Which harness are you referring to? Stalk N28 connector?

I really wish I could answer this lol. I would assume it is the N28 harness? Is that the one under the steering wheel? The installer that installed the fogs said one of the pins were loose but he disappeared and was never able to go to him and fix it.

The main question is if you purchased the pins, these pins are needed for the N28 connector.
Part# 82998-12870 (N28 Connector Pins) x 2

Yes, pin 19 exist because we are using that as the ground for pin 10. I used the below connectors to connect them together. so pin 19 and pin 10 will both become ground wires.

Pin 11 from the N28 connector will go to pin 27 on N12 connector. This will offer your on an off functionality. When you turn the switch it will send a signal to the main body ecu which is behind the coin tray. You will need to extend the wire you can either purchase the pin for the connector or just push it inside and zip tie it for security.

So if you connect pin 10 to pin 19 wire (I have N28 connector that I purchased separately with the wire attached) and pin 11 to N12 Connector, where do I connect the 2 wires coming from aftermarket fog harness (on/off) that I cut from the aftermarket switch?

From Joe Z 's thread, he is using pin 10 & 11 should be fog light on/off wire.

[UPDATE}

So I purchased the N28 connector from ebay and started to play with the different wiring set up.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Repair-terminal-for-Toyota-applications-mods-camera-cruise-ECU-ECM-/191328057918?_trksid=p2141725.m3641.l6368&rmvSB=true
The only way I could have the fog lights turn on was when I wired them to pin 10 and 11.

Pin 9 or 19 has no power coming out.

I just left with this set up for now so at least I can turn on/off the fog using stalk.

I wish I can look at the wire set up on non-Fsport model to finish this project.

pin 19 is for the headlight ground and pin 9 for the fog light assembly to the left side are u sure pin 9 doesn't have power? looks like pin 20 is nothing from TIS. and shows pin. pin 10 and pin 11 is for on/off for the fog light

I think
N12(Main ECU) pin 27(Fog light) goes to NN1(Instrument Panel Wire) Pin13 to N28(Headlight Dimmer Switch Assembly) pin11.
N28(Headlight Dimmer Switch Assembly) pin 10 will join together with pin 19 to the ground.
N12(Main ECU) Pin30(Tail) goes to NN1(Instrument Panel Wire)pin 10 to N28(Headlight Dimmer Switch Assembly) Pin22
N12(Main ECU) Pin 29 (Head) goes to NN1(Instrument Panel Wire)pin12 to N28(Headlight Dimmer Switch Assembly)pin23

If you perform the fog light install with the stalk using the existing harness and adding the pins, does that eliminate you having to run wiring through the firewall for the fogs?

Thank you for your replay.

I can see N12 & N28, but what's NN1???

So, is this diagram correct?

If so, where will the other fog light wire tap into? I have 2 wires needs to be connected from the A/M switch I cut from (+ & -).
