True. It would only be helpful if you could fit more songs on DVD-A than on CD.

Either dvd-a discs or my vinyl rips that I do at 24/192. Each album, at 24/96 and roughly 32 minutes, eats between 800-1000 megs. So a normal single layer DVD I create can contain 5 or 6 full albums, uncompressed. Dual layer DVD's contain twice that with the 9 gig limit.

I use Cirlinca Audio Solo to create the DVD's. You can get a lifetime license or buy it outright. It's funny because you have to create the disc as a DVD video disc then make the car autoplay the disc, a one time setting, otherwise it will randomly stutter.

I don't know about the non-ML system, if it can even handle DVD's.

For most people I imagine 320K mp3's burned to a CD or on a flash drive works best.
