Changed mine to the F-sport one. It's reusable.

Mine is non-F sport, would the F sport air filter fit in my car?

I believe the air filter box is the same, so it will fit. Just make sure you order the one for the GS and not the IS.

Here's a link for the F-sport air filter. It's sold by a Lexus dealer through eBay.

The main advantage is that it can be cleaned and reused for the life of the vehicle. Supposedly...high-flow, low-restriction air filters also marginally increase throttle response, engine performance, and fuel economy due to more air assisting with combustion, but I haven't noticed a significant difference. I didn't drive my car long enough or hard enough with the paper filter to compare. It might be slightly more noticeable when more components of the air intake system is changed.

Does Lexus service clean the Fsport filter and reinstall?

No idea. Haven't gotten to that point yet. Seems like the stock filter is changed every 30K miles, so I assume that's a good time to clean them.

Nice post. I'm at 36k mi and will need to change out my air filter. I'll just go with aftermarket drop in K&N air filter.

I saw some comment that some people get error code about MAF cause of the oil from K&N filter, but i have it on my 12' camry and never got the error code.

Regardless it will allow dirtier air into your engine
