Default Anybody in Orlando, FL with a full PTS/JoeZ exhaust?

I'm thinking about either customizing or swapping my invidia cat-back exhaust for something else.. id like to experiment to get a deeper tone without making it too much louder or more raspy then it already is. Anybody in the Orlando/Central FL area willing to meet up with me to compare exhaust tones live? I'll buy you a round of drinks..

I feel like I should have held out for the JoeZ catback. Do you get a popping backfire every now and then with your full invidia too?

I went to JoeZ axle back with AFe Intake and it's the perfect sound for me

No drone, no backfire, and exhaust keeps sounds at low rpm with the intake taking over at higher rpm

Yes I do get the popping backfire every now and then, but personally I like it lol. Scared the crap out of at first, but then got used to it. My friend had the JoeZ catback when I had my Invidia and he and I both liked the Invidia better. The JoeZ is a good sound but too drony for me.

If you ever down to meet up at any shows or meets let me know! I like meeting fellow lexus GS owners.

I tried everything I could think of today and could never get my car to backfire. I wonder if it has to do with having a HPS short ram intake and F Sportair filter setup

The popping is caused by the direct injection not burning off the fuel fast enough when rapid deceleration occurs like Ridiculous said.. I wonder if the reason 2Squared doesn't get popping is because the computer compensates for his increase in in air volume because of his CAI. My only engine mod is Ividia full cutback. I was thinking of experimenting with resonator deletes or maybe different resonators.. to get a deeper tone. I need an exhaust expert to chime in.

I have the full Invidia exhaust and the HPS intake and still get the popping noise. Also I noticed when addig the HPS intake, the drone (although already not much) is even more reduced with the invidia exhaust. A lot of people like the popping noise and a friend of mine tuned his m3 specifically to get that noise...lol. I think I've seen a lot of mustangs (with aftermarket exhausts) easily achieving the popping noise after letting off the throttle. I think when done right, the car sounds like a growling tiger...haha
