Is the volume sensitive to speed on our cars? Can not seem to find in manual.

It's called 'Automatic Sound Levelizer'. Information and how to set this feature is on pages 483 and 484 of the 2013 Owners Manual.
Here is how to activate the ASL for the radio:
MENU and then select Setup on the Menu screen
Select 'Audio' > Select 'Radio Settings'
Select 'Sound' button
Select the 'DSP' tab
Automatic Sound Levelizer > On/Off
Select 'OK'
ASL automatically adjusts the volume and tone quality according to the vehicle speed, wind noise or other noise.
Note: ASL can be set On/Off for DISC, iPod and BT Audio.

I do wonder what exactly it ends up being sensitive to in regards to "wind noise" and "other noise." As an example, I tend to leave my volume set about the same. It's comfortable listening at low speeds or on quiet roads. A loud road can drown it out a bit too much, and ASL doesn't seem to react. One day I opened up the sunroof and YOWZA ASL kicked in and made it quite loud.
