I am getting 350-380 per tank. But I am in eco mode 90% of the time. I don't notice black soot I don't think that's normal.

This mile marker is at the exit for my military unit, and during a normal fill up e.g. 1/4 to full. The needle barely sits under the full mark, when going to or passing it.

The days I run around town for work and reach approximately 3.7/4(needle a little above 3/4) and then fill up again to head to the unit and/or beyond. When I pass said mile parker mentioned, i'm at 3/4.

Same traffic conditions and weather and tire pressure each time. It's done this maybe 4-5 times.

I might have to gopro this whole journey and do timestamps with a atomic watch.

If I don't, if you guys think i'm crazy so will the dealership.
Okay, I'll bite. Much of the discussion has moved off-topic to calculating MPG and relying on the computer -- but your observation is simply based on the fuel gauge and number of miles "on a tank."

So that leads to more questions:
1. Are you filling up at the same station each time?
1a. Same pump?
2. When you indicate a 'range' you get on the tank, what is your ending criteria?
3. Do you really, really drive in the same manner?
4. Does the volume of fuel added meet your expectation of capacity remaining in the fuel tank?
5. You ask about "over-filling" -- are you "topping off" or otherwise filling beyond the initial pump cutoff?
6. Are you using the same fuel grade each time?

For me, when I first bought my 2014 CPO, I was getting pretty crappy gas mileage overall. Like I would fill up my tank full in Arlington, VA, and wouldn't be able to make it to Hartford, CT without filling up.

I used Lucas Fuel Injector cleaner a few times in the GS (Made my TL and Accord run significantly smoother in the past) and my next trip, I made it from Arlington to Hartford and still didn't have the gas light go off (Fuel range was around 90 miles). I know there are a lot of debates on whether these additive work or not, but at $10 or so for a large bottle that is good for like 10-15 tanks, worth a shot, no?

As for Lexus vs the Germans, the Germans usually get better gas mileage IME - Never really thought about/looked into it, but with my rental car experience with the X3, 3 Series, 5 Series, A4, A6, etc, they all got very good MPG, assuming because they all have turbos which Lexus only recently started introducing.

I had a similar problem with a previous Lexus. It was a fuel tank sensor problem. I was told by the technician to drive my car until the gauge was almost on empty. Then refill the tank completely on my next trip to the gas station. That should reset the fuel indicator sensor and fix the problem. Repeat as necessary until the gauge starts working correctly again. In my case it worked on the first try.
