Wow...that sir is a gorgeous car inside and out. Love the red start/stop button. Where did you pick that up? I am planning a similar excursion next weekend with a full clay/paint correction and ceramic coating. Picked up the car pro cquartz 3.0 coating, excited to see how it turns out.
Thanks for the kind words. You can pickup the red start button on Amazon for $10. Looks kinda cheap in a Lexus but it will hold me over until I can get a nicer button (waiting for another group buy). Good luck with detailing next weekend. Give yourself plenty of time. Clay and polish will take many hours to do right. I watched lots of Chemical Guys videos to get some pointers. Love their car care products too!
Looks good! You got a lot accomplished in 6 hours. It takes me forever to due full correction on mine and usually so burnt out after doing so. I'm thinking of trying out Adam's new Ceramic spray coating in the future. It's a lot of extra work to ceramic coat a car the traditional way vs. his new spray coating coming out. Gonna wait and see what people are saying about it.

Thanks Charley! I actually only did paint correction on the hood, trunk lid and driver's rear quarter panels. Those were the worst areas. The rest of the car looks ok. You're right, detailing is serious work. I past out right after dinner. My sister came over to visit, I didn't even get a chance to talk to her. I didn't do Ceramic Coating, just Meguaire's Ultimate wax. I actually like to do car detailing, kind of a hobby for me. So I repeat the process every few months. I'll probably try those new "Hybrid wax" at some point in the future. Just waiting to read the reviews to see if it really works or just an expensive gimmick.
Did you remove the calipers to paint or leave on the rotor?
I left the calipers on, but did not paint. Cleaned the flat surface of the caliper where I was going to adhere the decal, then applied two solid coats of clear. The clear coat certainly popped the black, you can see the difference in the before and after pics.

What is this group buy and how do I make sure I am part of it??
There was a group buy for customized F Sport start button early in 2017 on IS forum.
I didn't jump on it then, thought it was too expensive.
This site have the customized buttons, but little steep at $149. https://ftpmotorsport.bigcartel.com/
Maybe we could arrange our own group buy.
Not sure how to setup a group buy.
Maybe they need at least 10 people to commit.
Yea that is pretty steep for a button. I have never done a group buy so I wouldn't be the one to ask about setting it up...I would certainly be happy to join tho!
Well, now that I read some of those threads, not sure if I want to buy. Those buttons were made for older Lexus. It doesn't fit really well on our newer 4G.
Sounds like swapping buttons is a pain too. I think I'll skip. There always the TRD start button. Not sure if they fit our cars.
That looks so dope & incredibly menacing with those triple beams and that blue! I like what you did with the chrome on the grille, what did you use? It looks like it matches those painted gray inserts on the lower outer sides of the bumpers really well! What a mean looking car! Love it.
That came out nice!!! I used the same Avery Metallic black on the window trim, B pillars and rear valance so that everything would flow.
All thanks you! It was your car lol. did you wrap yours yourself? I need some help figuring out how to wrap the top window pieces, end of the rear windows, and in front of the mirrors since you can't really tuck on the bottom side. I was thinking of getting jgm visors and if i did that would make doing the top piece easier
