Got back into my GS after renting a Range Rover Sport for a road trip this past week. I was impressed with the overall handling, power and road manners of the Range Rover Sport considering its size and weight. The GS felt so low to the ground compared to the Range when I got back in. But the smoothness and refinement of my GS was much appreciated.
If i was in the market for an SUV, i'd consider the Range. The craziest part is that with its V8 and size, it was almost as good on gas as my GS around town! I usually get 12-14 mpg in the GS and i was getting around 12mpg in the Range with a similar driving pattern.

I installed the beatsonic DVD/NAV bypass, it wasn't too hard, but I wish I had moved the shifter back. I tried to cover the console with towels, but wriggling the radio trying to get my fat fingers on the right connectors on the back of the radio, somehow I managed to scratch the console. Doesn't look too bad in the pic, but it is noticeable to me. I might have to just keep the cup holder cover up to hide it. Does anyone have any ideas if this can be fixed? I doubt I'll replace it, but it does bother me.
Oh.I also installed the newer style nav pointer on the 2015s and up model, That took about 10 secs to swap out, worth the $9!
