My wife tells me that I just enjoy fiddling with the car too much, whether it needs a fix or not, I'm gonna find something that "needs" adjustment.

Went back to Impex Motorsport to have the installer adjust the stiffness up on my coilovers a bit more. They set it at medium initially, now a few more clicks towards stiffness, it's perfect. I like the feel of the road just a little bit. In S+, stiffness is even more pronounced than before. Love it!

Also tried to install iJDMToys LED front turn signal bulbs last night. What a disaster that was...damn bulb sat too loosely in the socket and fell into my headlight housing when I tried to tighten it! I tried to fish out the bulb with cloth hanger for hours! Gave up and had my mechanic remove front bumper and headlight to shake the bulb out. Damn cheap bulb ended up costing me $125 in labor costs to remove the bumper/headlight. Strong word of caution to those of you who want to install LED bulbs, MAKE SURE YOU SECURE IT WITH TAPE AROUND THE BULB AND SOCKET BEFORE PUTTING IT BACK INTO HOUSING. Don't know why iJDMToys bulbs are are sitting so loose. Any minor road bump would definitely shake it loose inside the housing. I won't be buying anymore bulbs from them.

This is bulb I ordered. Stay away from these!!

My license plates came in, so I put the rear one on and took the mounting plate off the front as I decided to go without and to risk it.

They look so much better with the plate off. Just over a year now without one on the front of mine. Keeping my fingers crossed I don't get nailed. I keep the extra plate in the trunk just in case the cop would ask. I do get a little paranoid every time I pass a cop.

Do it before you start getting rock chips. The bumper and the lower part of the hood are the most vulnerable parts, Lexus Paint is soft.

When I bought my car used 2 years ago it had the factory PPF on the bumper lower part of the hood, the lower part of fenders, side mirror caps.
I took it off the hood, fenders, and side mirror caps, because were it ended was always a dirt line. Not soon after I started getting rock chips on the hood. The original bumper held up very well, the PPF save it.

Now that I have the whole front end redone, PPF is a must, getting the install April 2nd. Using Suntek for me it is $1400 for the full hood, bumper, both full fenders, side mirror caps, and headlights. They are also wrapping around the edges and going to do a much better job than the precut factory ppf. I also plan on ceramic coating the entire car, myself.

Default AFE intake

Installed an AFE dry intake, it sounds better than the exhaust and it really roars at Sport S+!

^^^Dang

Today I found the last mechanic stripped one of the wheel nuts or something, in attempt to take it off we ended up with a loose stud. Off to my trusted mechanic tomorrow for a new stud to be pressed in! Thankfully when I phoned Lexus parts they said I shouldn't need a new hub, that alone is over $600!
