What did you do to your GS today?

Got some Bead Maker. Actually this is the second gallon I ordered. First gallon got lost or stolen somewhere in New Jersey...damn you Jersey! Can't wait to try this on this weekend when the rain finally stopped.
P&S Bead Maker. Hyped up everywhere on YT. Hope it doesn't disappoint.

I can't remember what it's called, but it's by 3M. Not ceramic tint as it doesn't get warm enough here to justify the cost. I went with 25%. Not legal here, but whatever...

3M Crystalline? That's good stuff we have it on our MDX. UV and heat rejection is amazing. I'll probably go for that as it's a little bit cheaper than the ceramic.

Heard some good reviews about Bead Maker and it's supposed to be reasonably priced. I think "Pan the Organizer" on YouTube does a review of this. Right now I'm hung up on Adam's H20 G&G, it leaves an amazing shine after a wash. Of course if your paint is not in corrected condition it won't be effective.

probably obsidian since hes going for just looks and thats the only 3M product rated at 25%. it has less heat rejection.

Make sure to get the windshield too if you're gonna say screw it to the law! lol if you do I'd opt for just crystalline 70 or 60 since it has better glare reduction than obsidian

It’s not just the heat, but the UV rejection as well. If this car is a keeper, protect the interior as much as possible.

We have 3M Crystalline 70 on our MDX windshield. Heat rejection is good at 50% and UV rejection is great at 99.9%. That's what will kill your interior over time is the UV rays. One drawback tinting your windshield is if you wear polarized sunglasses while you drive, you will see a weird rainbow effect due to the film having it's own anti-glare coating. Our MDX is white so tinting windshield with Crystalline 70 you barely notice any difference. On a darker car, it may be more noticeable. Haven't had any trouble yet with the cops around here in SoCal. Of course another drawback is if your windshield is cracked your tint is toast. Re-tint is very expensive too. I think ours cost $350 just to tint windshield.

if you want more effective tint at lighter tint use crystalline otherwise if heat isn't a factor at all (or glare) go with the cheapest with 99% uv protection.
