Changed the front brake pads yesterday. Straight forward enough!
I ran out of the brake goo on the last pad...one I'd put the car back together I found that the genuine pads come with their own!
Yes, do the F Sport badge as well. And if you don't like it, you can always go back to original. Besides... I want to see what it will look like.

I actually did sprayed the F Sport badge but ended up screwing it up when I tried to remove the white recessed part. It's too hard to do. Will try again leaving it all black.
Got some VHT caliper paint and placed order for StopTech drilled/slotted rotors and Centric Posti-Quiet 105 ceramic pads. My next project is making the brakes sexy
OEM brakes blending in too much with my wheels...it's all gray right now. Looking forward to lower dust and more pop for the calipers and rotors.

Which color did you go with for the calipers? I still need to do my rears. I did the fronts awhile back and love the look but need to finish off the rears. My wheel was shipped today so I will be putting that on hopefully within the next week. Excited to see how it turns out!
@CaptRog21 Burnt Copper. I thought about Red to match my RSR coilovers but red is so played out, want to try something different. Will look like this, sorry @Selahvie I stole your picture
Came home a little early today, saw there was still some light left, and decided to get a jump start on the weekend... got my GS all clean and sparkly!
@chinee looks good get some Bead Maker, I guarantee the shine will blow your mind. Plus nothing will stick to your paint, rain drops just slide right off and bugs just wipe away easily. Spray it on wheels too, brake dust doesn't stick.
I have 3 cars, so my carwash ritual starts on Fridays and extends into the weekends. Much too tiring to wash all 3 at the same time.
Thanks! Trying to keep it simple because I already obsess a little too much about the GS. After my first wax/polish, I sealed with Sonax PNS 6 months ago and use Sonax Brilliant Shine Detailer every other wash. I must say, it shines and is very hydrophobic, I really like it so I'm not ready to switch it up yet. But I haven't found the perfect sealant/wax/coating for the wheels yet, without going for an actual ceramic coating. So far McKee's 37 Hydro Blue SiO2 is doing okay.
BTW.. My wife heard the garage door open and came out to see what was going on... she saw the car outside and me with hose in hand... gave me a couple of eye rolls and tsk tsks...
Edit: I've been seeing Bead Maker all over the net so on your recommendation, I decided to watch a couple of reviews. It certainly is enticing... maybe I'll get a bottle...
