Here's some pictures I took of my carbon fiber version of a stock spoiler versus the M4 V
i was looking at the mk4 spoiler, too. when i had my OEM spoiler wrapped, the crappy wrapper i went to cut into my paint around the left and right edges towards the back of the spoiler (closes to the windshield). the OEM spoiler covers it, but i'm afraid the mk4, where it sits on the trunk, doesn't extend as far back. can you confirm this?

It will not cover the end holes early covers the center holes where the original spoiler goes. Which is why I'm on the lookout now for a baseball trunk with no spoiler. For now I used some of the spare 3M vinyl to cover the whole length of the trunk lid so that water will not get inside the trunk. I tapered it down from the middle towards the center to use least amount as possible without looking obscure.
Washed it and tried T Wax Seal & Shine Ice on the fender. Bead Maker is on the hood. Doing a little experimenting with different products on different panels.
I didn’t do it to my own GS but apparently someone thought it was cool to hit and crack my mirror housing. Wasn’t planning on adding any CF to the car but I guess I’ll be ordering some CF mirror covers soon
Put a new rear spoiler on tonight, unfortunately it's not a great fit for a trunk that had a factory spoiler because it doesn't cover the holes. That sucks because I like it a lot, so the search for a base model trunk lid with no spoiler begins. Wrapped the chrome and front bumper with 3M vinyl last night.
Nice... look forward to more pics. Those mudguards are going to keep a ton of spray off the GS and keep it looking cleaner longer. How are you caring for the paint? Wax? Sealant? A good wax/sealant with hydrophobic qualities will also go a long way in keeping your black car look clean.
