What did you do to your GS today?

I drove it through deeper water than I wanted to.
Storms in NJ caused some wet roadways, and one rather deep pool outside Manahawkin.
Saw several cars ahead as they went, was going to be fine, still rather dramatic to caulk and ford the wagon.
We made it. Lost one wagon tongue and seventy six bullets. No one died of dysentery.

Technically this was a few days ago but I cleaned the leather and conditioned using Lexol water and micro fiber towels. Then I drove it to Solvang/Paso Robles for some wine and fun!!! Such a highway boss; loved that I really got to use sport+ manual mode when merging

Painted the front calipers and added F sport decals. Ran out of time to do the rears so hopefully I can do that this week. I was a little concerned with the orange on bronze but I think it looks good together.

Hello, I have similar issue with the same color,.
Yeah, these people are nice enough, but the job just isn't up to par. There's a drop of paint on my windshield, and I found out some of the paint wasn't dry in one of the crevices while I was wrapping the chrome on the grill.
He tried to tell me paint on plastic won't look the same as paint on metal, but that doesn't explain why the bumper is a brown-gray and the car is a blue-gray.

What did you end up doing?

What'd you use for paint?
I'm on the fence about what color to do mine (Obsidian car). I picked metallic gold but haven't committed to doing it yet.

Wow... I remember when you got started on this project about a year ago... your GS has come a long way. I can't see what else you can do with it. Looks really good!

VHT engine paint from Amazon. I had them blue before but were more Ford blue than Lexus blue. Once I seen the orange F sport calipers I wanted them. The GSF brakes are hard to come by so I have stop tech rotors and painted the stock calipers. This drys super fast and smooth.

Yeah I've had the car a little over a year now and has come a long way. A few more things coming soon that I'm excited for. Hopefully get the rear calipers done this week and I'll take some real photos of the car.
