What did you do to your GS today?

It wasn't 'today' but over my High School son's Spring Break last week, drove the GS from MD to FL and back visiting colleges and a few days of vacation in the middle. Total roundtrip miles racked up was 2300. I kept a log of my gas consumption, the per tank mpg and mileage, then being the nerd I am, I manually calculated the mpg and compared against the car's computer. I know filing the tank varies somewhat, but over 2300 miles, I think it gets pretty consistent. Anyway, I found the car computer averaged, across the entire trip to read 0.5mpg lower than actual. I know, pretty insignificant, but just wanted to share. I have a '13 GS F Fsport AWD, drove primarily in regular drive mode, switched to ECO a few times and Sport+ in the mountains, honestly, I didn't notice a huge difference in the car's mpg in the different modes on the highway. The total average over the 2300 miles was 23.9 mpg and most of the interstate driving was 70-80mph, but the trip also included local mileage trips of about 300 miles, stop and go, etc.

Not today but Saturday I took my LS and my wife's GS to the Riverside Meet in Chattanooga, TN. It was a great event. Very laid back.
Riding up there.
Parked right up front.

I might be plastidipping my car soon. I have the gallons and pearls I was going to use on my BMW but have since sold it. Still want to use the color, and I personally never wanted black, its a huge pain to keep clean. Have a ES dipped in sterling silver, and its pretty easy to keep clean and durable. Haven't washed the car in a month and it still looks clean.

Thanks. I had the headlights taken apart by David at DropGearz Motorsports. He painted the inside black and removed the amber reflectors. The lense is still clear. I didn't want to hurt the light output so I didn't want to smoke out the taillights.

Today I had the windows tinted to 35% (not too dark for LP), detailed the interior, exterior, and conditioned the leather in the front and back with Lexol.
She looks brand new.
