I updated the Lexus badge on the trunk with an OEM badge in the newer style. Looks way better than the carbon fiber inserts I tried in the past. It was kind of pricey at almost $120 all in, but I feel it was totally worth it. The 2016+ GS facelift should've had these stock, IMO.

Been debating on doing this or just getting my OEM lexus emblem painted/dipped. I agree with you - this does look alot better and cleaner in every aspect. Do you have the part number for this emblem? Still trying to convince myself that the price tag is worth it but this post helped

I don't have a part number but this is the one I purchased. They have a lot of new emblems for sale.

Possible to provide the part number from the back of the emblem? Car looks good with it.

Since it’s generic, how’s the quality?

Polished it with my new Rupes Lhr-15 Mk3 after prepping it. Used carpro clearcut on green pad.

Took it to get my wheel repaired

What did you do to your GS today?-scfdiup.jpg

due to this bend near the valve stem

caused by hitting this nasty pothole

But on the bright side, the repair only cost me $60 and only took about an hour or so, no paintwork or touch-up was required, and they balanced the wheel.

After that, I took a couple daylight pics of the new trunk badge I installed the other day

Consider filing claim with city if that pothole has been reported before and they didn’t fix. That’s a huge one but $60 is cheap !
