I really wanted to hate this car. I really really did.

I can't stop thinking about it.

Hmmmmm....Does the GS know yet? I think if you cheat one more time we might have to come and stage an intervention....this is getting a bit habitual.

I think you just need to keep your fingers crossed that maybe the GS gets resurrected on it's 30th anniversary as an BEV or similar. I don't think I"m ready for one of those yet but who knows....I have until 2036 or so at the rate I keep vehicles.

Maybe that was self inflicted because you've been cheating. Or Karma maybe?

What you did to fix it looks amazing though, seriously. You did that all just by hand ? No mechanical buffer of any sort??

Thank you! And yup! Just a couple minutes of buffing it by hand it with two different pads and two different polishes. I gave it a quick spray and wipe down afterwards with a spray wax and that was it.

How was the quality? Would you buy it again? I am debating on buying a kit vs just getting some vinyl and doing it by hand myself

I would buy it again - the fact that it's pre-cut probably saved a ton of time. It definitely takes some finesse to make sure the upper window pieces go on correctly - they didn't give much extra material in terms of width. By the time I got to the other side of the car I knew exactly what to do. I barely drive the car and it never sees rain or snow, so I won't be able to comment on how it holds up to elements and frequent washes.
The vinyl itself was strong and reacted well to a heat gun - no brand under the paper so I couldn't tell what it actually was.
For $40 I figured if the vinyl was crap of the cuts didn't line up well it would have been worth the cost for the training session and practice I got from it!

Just to clarify....I just washed mine Its always fun using the foam canon. signdetres was the one that did the amazing buff out of the scratch/rub on his front fender.
He needs to do more than just a quick buff and go on his GS to make up for all the cheating he's been doing First with other Lexus, then with a Tesla! Next thing you know it'll be an Acura <JK>

...just about as good as new. I shouldn't have any issues when I return my lease in a couple months

Nicely done! never underestimate the power of a little elbow grease!

Havent "done" anything but i did purchase the following parts from Amayama to refresh my interior: New shift ****, accelerator pedal, brake pedal, driver & passenger side window button trim, mouse pad and control cover for rear arm rest. Other than that my interior is in pretty good condition. Looking to purchase some sound deadening for both front doors and the boot.
