Swapped the trunk badge on my GS Black Line. I bought it for my 2018 Atomic Silver GS, but never installed it. Glad I waited so I could put it on this car. Now for a nice black license plate frame.

Got some cheap carbon fiber trim and said might as well. Apparently for window trim, but fit perfectly here.



Thoughts?

I like it. It gives it a nice contrast. I may need to do mine soon.

Is that emblem off an ES?
Also, if you're looking for a black license plate frame, I highly recommend a black silicone license plate frame like this one:

The look is very clean and it doesn't rattle when the trunk is close (but if your trunk is power, then I guess it doesn't matter).

The emblem is for a GS F and is a genuine Toyota part from Japan.. Kind of pricey, but looks great. Here is where I bought it:

Never made a car payment in my life except for the day I bought it. Only owned two cars and bought both 3 years used, paid in full.

Only owned two cars? Must be really young or car's must have lasted decades

I think I've had 6 in total plus a motorcycle but only two of them cost above 10k and both were Lexus GS.

I'm similar - the GS is only my third car - my first car was 14 years old (I had it for 13), my second car just turned 21 (I've had it for 18). The Lexus will hopefully join those ranks and hopefully stay in the stable longer even when it's finally time for car number 4.

I've done payments on all of my cars simply because the interests rates have been so low (never 0% but close). If I can use someone else's money so mine can be off working to make more why not?

I have 0% also on mines for 5 years. I'm in no hurry to payoff also. I rather have the money in my bank account
