I'm going to contact the shop that installed them and see if they can shave off some of the offset. Their website says that they can do several things with wheels:

Here a front shot looking back at the rear wheels:

I would like it like 10 mm or so more sunken in.

I do love how they look with my gold painted calipers:

The driving feel to me seems to feel "lighter"
I'll have to see if my gf notices any difference when she gets in the car.
hey man what issues did the shop run into in the beginning? I’m having the dealership swap my tires over to these rcf wheels. They are telling me the fronts going to be a bit stretched with 245/40s have you tried going 255/35 in the front by chance? Thanks for the info!

I got these RCF wheels installed last week. Agree with one of the other guys mentioning he wishes the rear wheels were a bit more sunken in. Other than that love the look! Going to have to invest in some mud guards.

Default New Tires

I put a set of Yokohama YK740 GTX tires on my '17 GS350. The stock tires lasted 30,000 miles. Its my first Yokohama purchase. Excellent reviews and decently priced. We'll see...

I installed a new battery from Optima: Red Top Group 25 (https://www.optimabatteries.com/products/redtop-25) purchased from Autozone for $199.

My local mechanic previously changed the OEM Lexus battery to a rather large, hefty Delphi battery with a much different shape than the OEM battery. When he did, he had to cut and modify both the OEM plastic cage and the existing metal bracket. Unfortunately, now with the Optima battery, the plastic and bracket both look like it was mauled and manhandled as you can see in the second image below:

Previous battery

New Optima battery

The Optima Red Top Group 25 has a much smaller overall footprint and the OEM plastic sleeve/cage is HUGE around it. The biggest challenge to changing out the battery was getting the positive terminal wiring harnesses to detach from the side of the plastic. The upper plastic clip can just slide over leaving the two harnesses "dangling." The one on the bottom requires you to flip and squeeze the clip which you'll need to use a flathead screwdriver to assist with.

When I put everything back together, for the life of me I couldn't get the lower clip to snap back around the wiring (that's a task for another day when its a bit warmer and I can try to get in there):

On my first try after install, the car started up, but immediately shut off. On the second attempt, it started up immediately and stayed on - the infotainment when through a system startup and everything all my settings/phone connections/etc were still there. Overall, more challenging than I had hoped but glad to have gained the experience and to be able to share some pics/tips.

Default Upgraded to 20" Vossens on Pilot Sport 3s Staggered Setup

Finally upgraded the wheels from stock. Gave the whip a whole new look. Had the calipers painted a nice burnt copper color. Also had all the windows re-tinted.

Been a while since the GS saw some clean water so gave it a bath yesterday. Gave the engine bay a quick wipe down as well. My ricer-CF badge was giving me a little bling in the sunlight.

Out with the old and in with the new! My month old CPO GS needed new shoes and some sunglasses. 😎

Took it to the dunes. Who would have known there are sand dunes in Texas?

Nice photos my friend! Where about in TX was that @MX73 ?

Here is my recent trip from Austin to Dallas where I hit close to 35 mpg on my GSh. I was impressed because I drove like 80+ through most of the trip. I also finally surpassed 50K so I wanted to capture that moment as well. No major problems with the vehicle and I still love driving it every chance that I get.

With the GS lineup dying with our generation, I hope we have continue to get more folks that appreciate everything that Lexus did to make this one of the best sporty, luxury sedans.

The best thing about these forums is that you realize you're not the only crazy (?) one that takes pictures of things like this to "commemorate" moments with the car I've been known to pull over on the side of the interstate to capture the moment one of my cars has hit 100k Although it's not quite as fun as the old OD that literally rolled over.

The picture was taken in Monahans, TX, just about 30 miles west of Odessa.

Likewise. I also hit 34.9MPG but never 35. Something is going on. lol. I was doing about 80MPG avg. Sometimes hitting 90MPH when I had to go find a rest stop. lol.
