My exhaust tips are blacked out as well. I painted mine with rustoleoum high temp matte black and rustoleoum high temp clear. I did not remove the bumper or drop the diffuser, I just masked everything off with tape and drop cloths.

I've heard people have had these wrapped but I was wary about the high temp being next to the exhaust, and wrapping them well would definitley requiring taking them off by dropping the bumper and diffuser.

I saw the lime green GS along with a yellow wrapped GS I follow on IG and they look amazing. As for the exhaust, I'd rather keep the chrome just so they can stand out more. But I've been thinking about buying a carbon fiber quad tip diffuser, it would look beautiful but I'm concerned about removing the rear bumper to install the diffuser and somehow messing up the wrap. Even though it's not likely. Here's a pic from @cjsa4gs on Instagram of the diffuser.

Default Calipers from Acura

I really don't want to paint my existing calipers and would rather use a cover. Are you saying Acura covers work? Where do you get them? Thanks.

Btw. great looking covers btw. Live the orange. I want silver for a low contrast.

Default F Sport Spoiler on a 2013 Lux!

Installed this yesterday. Ordered the Template which was Not for the F Sport Spoiler. Then I worried for 2 days about measuring, and running to one of my CL friends F Sport back and fourth to do measures with Calipers. I drilled the 7 Trunk holes, and sealed good. Got this from my Friend with a very tricked out 2014 F Sport Black, who put on a high $ Carbon spoiler.

If anything it's maybe a hair not hanging over the back of the Trunk, or not? Anyway another stage of my 2013 Lux Lego upgrade build. The F Sport Spoiler added. Thanks to CL Member Jarion!!!

My car has the stock clear bra on the front I believe installed from the dealer. It has looked bad the last few years and heavily scratched. I decided I want to paint correct the car and ceramic coat it. I've been spending the last 3 days trying to remove it, its a huge pain to do. I'd probably never install a clear bra on the car. I almost have it off now, and at least the paint underneath is line new. I'm leaving the bumper bra on since it still looks new. Not sure what scratched the hood so much though, there was so many cuts in it. Also spent last week trying to trace a oil leak. I didn't want to take it to a shop and pay $1000 for them to have to drop the front end to address it since it was minor. I used some RTV gasket and I believe I might have solved by patching a specific area in the front.

Default Acura caliper covers

Are you saying the Acura covers fit the GS? Wanted to keep original stuff to convert back when finished playing.

The acura covers go over the rear brakes but will need slight modification:

A detail day! The GS got some love today.

Wash
Clay Bar
Machine Polish
GTechniq Panel Wipe
GTechniq Crystal Serum Light Coating
GTechniq EXO V4 Coating
GTechniq Liquid Crystal Top Coat/Spray

Car looks amazing! I wish pictures could adequately capture the depth of the shine.

Nice! CSL is a top-notch consumer coating. Good choice!

Ok...so I'll fess up right off the bat.....this was technically yesterday.....

Had to give her a bath....this is ash from the forest fire(s). Not sure which one(s) exactly but they're all more that a couple hours away and most are even further. I was a bit surprised when I walked out and found this since we haven't had anything too close this year.

The photos in the light make it look a bit worse than it looked like in real life.

Sooooo....I didn't have a ton of time this weekend so I did a quick rinse with the power washer, a quick soak with the foam canon, and another rinse after that. That seemed to get everything off but I still took her to the brushless car wash to hopefully get anything I missed. Not perfect and I wish I could have taken the time but not bad......

How long would you say it took you to go over the car with the clay bar?

What did you use (both product and device) to do the machine polish?

So how did you remove the Clear Bra? Also where was the Oil leak coming from?

Clay bar is quick - maybe 20 minutes.

I used my PC 7424XP dual action rotary polisher. I used blue and orange pads, with Meguiar's 105 and 205. It's a combo that has worked well for me.

Heat gun and peel slowly. If you don't heat it up enough the clear bra will leave a lot of glue on the paint, making more work for yourself.
