18's don't come with those? My 2019 did. So 19 and 20's come with them only.

The illuminated ones are an option. I had them on my 15 and on my 19, but they didn't come on my 20. I really do miss them.

Sounds like there could be a last minute gift idea for you if anyone hasn't figured out what to get you

Interestingly they show up as a port installed option when you look up your VIN so I always wondered how that worked - do they ship all cars with standard ones and then swap them out at the port and if so what happens to all those ones they pull out? Or do they ship the cars with nothing and the port installs based on what was ordered. I wish I still had my TMC contact at the port here in Portland to ask.

I bought the same LED strip because of your post. I also installed the hook part of a velcro strip on the back of the leds so it velcros to the trunk liner. I also extended the wires. These might be brighter than my reverse lights lol. Much brighter than the led board because it spreads the leds across more of the trunk instead of being concentrated in a small area. Excuse the junk in the trunk:

The car should come stock like this, no reason for pathetic trunk lighting.

I been meaning to get the strip too. Did you have to spice it in the wiring?

I modified a bulb that I already had and attached the led strip wiring to that. The bulb adapter that comes with it was loose in the socket, yes alternative is just wiring it directly.

1. Windows tinted 3 weeks ago.

2. Weathertech Rain Guards installed on Sunday, (Xmas gift from one of my sons). Had to re-calibrate the windows to eliminate the Windows Opened message when the doors were opened or car turned off. Also, lubed the window channels with silicone spray.

3. Lexus OEM First Aid Kit delivered and installed last night. Already had a FA Kit from my previous car but, wanted the Lexus kit just because...

4. Lexus OEM trunk carpet delivered and installed today.

5. Direct Injection High Pressure Fuel Pump Cover Assembly delivered and installed today. Removing the air intake tube helped with getting the right side of the cover into place. During the installation, the left cover fell into the engine bay. I couldn't see where it went and it did not drop to the ground. Without having to jack the car up, I was able to reach underneath the car, into an area that I thought it might be and luckily it just happened to be in that exact spot. No harm, no foul but, I was a bit worried for a minute. Thank you to those in the forum that informed us about this part.

I bought a Stanley Model SL18910P-3 3 Peak Horsepower, 3 Gallon Wet/Dry Vacuum Cleaner from Amazon.com for $46.54. It's very powerful and very lightweight - perfect for vacuuming the car's carpet mats. It comes with crevice, brush and gulper nozzles. The suction strength from this little vacuum is so powerful it forcefully lifts the carpet mats when vacuuming with the gulper nozzle.

The vacuum comes with only a 6 foot power cord and 4 foot hose, so it limits the distance from where it's plugged-in to 10 foot. The 4 foot long hose is long enough to vacuum the front and rear of one side of the car when you get the vacuum close enough. I replaced the OE power cord with a 30 foot power cord and now it's perfect for my needs. With its compact and lightweight size I can easily store the vacuum and its hose on one shelf in my garage storage cabinets.

How they stuff three powerful horses in that thing is beyond me!

Replaced front brake pads with OEM pads + shim kit. Currently at ~43k mi. Rear pads still look good so left them on. No more squeaking on cold starts.

Dropped some cha-ching on a set of Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4s.
New tires always ride so nice!
Alignment to come next week.

That scooter though...

So u decided to go with the AS4. I'm still deciding between the 4S and AS4. Need more cha-ching for the 4S.

OEM rubber were Bridgestone Potenza RE050As, got 28K out of them. Might have even gotten another 5K or so but I had an alignment issue and the front passenger was wearing severely on the outer edge. Hoping to get more than that on these Michelins, they have a 45K mileage warranty which will likely be halved on a staggered setup.

The Potenza was a Max Performance Summer tire and did not have a mileage warranty but most of their competitors' summer performance tires offer 30K, so since I got 28K and would have likely gotten few thousand miles more, you can tell I drive like a grandpa most of the time. So I'm confident (actually hopeful) I can get 40K or more out of these Michelins.

First impressions... comfort was very noticeable, likely a more pliant sidewall on the Mich. I saw a few reviews where Bridgestones were always knocked for their stiff tire construction and therefore relatively harsher ride. I'm pretty sure I'll be happy on the AS4s.

Looked at reviews and realized I don't drive aggressively enough to really take full advantage of the PS4S's features, and that the AS4s would more than meet my needs. Also, it doesn't hurt that the AS4 is the standard rubber on the C8 Corvette.
