@gs350noob - That's a really strange characteristic of a lot of people - procrastinating; continually putting off something you know full-well needs to be taken care of but are unwilling to do it, oftentimes until it causes problems. Reminds me of the guy that always thinks his old dying battery will last just a little bit longer to start his car one more time, then one more time, and then one more time...until it can't.

I'm curious - Is there a reason why you wouldn't spend a few bucks at a local pharmacy to buy a new coin battery and replace the almost dead fob battery?

Looking good. I must admit I am not as jealous of these wheels as I was the other set.

It's an unfortunate trait of mine I suppose. I've got a hide a key so there's always a backup when the battery dies. It's still silly though I know. I also like to go as far as possible on a tank of gas.

I always fill up when tank hit's 1/4. Your going to use the same exact amount of gas to get to where your going, so running it to the light or very low only risks damaging the fuel pump, your not saving any money doing that.

Replaced my rear fender liner that dealer screwed up and found another nail on my tire when I removed it. I guess the 4S will come sooner than I expect it. Going to check with Costco later. Damn this car had me drop a lot of cha-chings this month.

Oh I also noticed that all of my pinch welds are bent. These people at the dealer really don't know what they're doing. Stay away from Lexus of Riverside!!!

I usually fill up before it reaches even ½ tank. I like having a full tank or almost a full tank.

@ItzFilyO - You must often drive through construction sites or neighborhoods where re-roofing is taking place to keep picking up nails the way you do.

Are you sure you don't have magnets in your tires that attract nails?

You're just handing out money to everybody to keep your GS the way you want it!

If Lexus still makes the GS line, this car would have been replaced. So now I'm fixing all the broken stuff.

I never had good luck with Bridgestones. In my old GS, a car wash railing slashed a piece and the dealer replaced it since I had the tire protection at the time, then a piece of metal slashed the sidewall and that was it. Michelin took over and never had any problem. My RC had Dunlops and no problems either. Guess I'm just not a Bridgestone guy! Never liked these tires anyway. 4S should be installed on Friday.

Nice! Watch those nails!

Did they steal your valve stem caps or have you decided to go commando and without protection?
