Didn't get to see them pre-wrap, but I bet they were pretty! Any sound clips after the install? I'm very curious to hear how it sounds. I'm glad you're liking the D3 tune also, might be my next mod....

Installed some brighter reverse lights. LED bulbs with projector lenses on the ends (same kind I use in many other cars I've had), as it's hard to see the driveway when I back into it. Here's pics with same settings for both each.

Before.

After (the clouds previously lit in the background have mostly moved on)

They are these. Their a bit better than the PPE ones especially in the Collector and merge. Two of my friends have the PPE and we compared and measured against the Maximizers.

Sounds great because I chose to use the Tanabe Exhaust due its high flow, but quietness. Now working on a effective low noise mid-pipe config that flows well too. It is louder than before the Headers. The car rips! Get some!

Here they are. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/per...l#post11235188

Could you share a link with us? Need to upgrade the reverse lights on our GS and 4R

Test fitting wheels to see how ambitious of a fitment I'm going to try for.

Wetsanded and polished the driver's side doors and fender. Made a good difference, still not where it should be though. Going to have to go over it again later. Going to wash it we'll tomorrow n wax it.

Then a Sylvania headlight restore for the headlights and it should be done until winter.

All this car stuff is cutting into my hunting time, need to get it out of the way!

@Mangsailor - I used to go deer hunting with friends on 600 acres of leased land we had around Sparta in Alleghany County. I had a 1974 Toyota FJ40 Landcruiser that I took off-road a lot when hunting and scouting. It was a beast. I miss doing that...lots of fond memories...

Well, did a thorough detail on the paint yesterday (like, q-tips inside the emblems/toothbrush to the gaps kind of clean), then went over all the panels with polishing compound, then buffed it with wax.

Tomorrow, headlight restoration time!

Drove my GS in high winds today with gusts up to 55mph. Surprisingly the GS handles very well where other cars and trucks had to slow way down. Saw 2 flipped 18-wheelers today and a lot of fallen trees alongside the 210 highway, that's how bad it was.

Under 60, I felt the wind pushing the car to the side a bit but over 80, the car felt so planted and drove straight as an arrow like there's no wind. Weird. Oh and that engine sound when u go through the whole RPM is really something.

This car handles really well in the rain and in high wind and sounds great, what more do u want? I think once I got the triple-beam headlights, it will drive even better.

Buffed the headlights yesterday (no coating on it, too cold, not worried about it in the short term though.

Then a bird had its way with it after having pokeberry for breakfast. At least the quick detailer didn't mess up my wax job.
