Sorry that you were involved in that accident. Glad you were not hurt. Hopefully you can get it fixed to your satisfaction.

Lots of accidents due to the ice here in Texas.

Which website did you buy the seal from? I thinking of taking the plunge on this as well.

I bought it from the local dealer here in the SF Bay Area.

The easiest way to install is tilt the back up, then open the two front screws and push the front up.

Installed the sunroof weatherstrip today......havent messed with cars for many years hence took me about an hour to do it carefully not to tear the rubber strip. My car has around 106,000KM on it and i can FELL the difference in NVH. If your car has more than 60-70K Miles and you never changed it, just do it......for USD40 it's a no brainer.

Agreed. I've been driving around with the music off to hear how quiet she is now LOL, so nice not to hear that low clunk over bumpy roads. Seems to me quieter in general.

I took a lil 500+ mile trip and got 27.9 mpg! That’s driving around 80 mph on mostly freeways as well as over the Grapevine both directions.

That's nice. I remember I'd be happy if I was able to make it past 20. Lol.

Yeah the GS does great on long road trips. I think once I got about 32 on a long flat trip doing like 80

I was surprised. My prior best was 27 but that was using the Econ mode and CC. This time was Normal mode w/o CC. I even had a couple runs into triple digits. Usually I get 25 on the freeway and 22-24.5 around here in the mountains.

Started playing with changing the door lights from the stock LED to accepting a 31mm festoon. This one might be too bright compared to the dim, warm interior lights , so I have some others on the way to play around.

I know they have some on Amazon that replace the housing, but this seemed like a more customizable option.

Installed a AEM Full Intake and also had a 2nd Throttle Body Venturi Ported/Polished and enlarged to 5mm bigger. It's also port matched to my flow bench matched ported enlarger upper and lower intake manifolds. Did a little ECU Remap street Tuning recommendation changes, of a/f fuel rpm trims, and timing from Dennis at D3 Performance. The Engine really likes the AEM and enlarged TB a lot! It's still not 100%, but I am getting real close to finishing everything to go to the Dyno.

Next I'm going to heat shield off a lot of the AEM. I also deleted and made a coolant bypass blocking the coolant to reduce heat to the TB that lowered the intake air temps some more. I took some measures of the Stock air temps IAT and the MAF air flow readings vs the new TB and AEM. Its a nice little gain. More cooler air to the engine.

Applied red overlays on the taillights. Love the new look.
