Went somewhere in town on the weekend with the family and set my mirrors to fold. Passenger side didn't fold....
GREAT.
Took mirror apart, found the front and rear clamshells not set in the grooves on the "post" of the main frame of the mirror. Didn't set them in there when I put the new puddle LEDS in.
Woops. Put them back as they needed to be and done. Works. FHEW.
Pic of proper placement:
Traded it for a 2016 E63s!
The GS has been a great car but I miss the power and no amount of supercharging will give me 577hp. Very different cars but this is not my first AMG rodeo.
I have a showroom mint condition '13 GS AWD, zero dings, zero accidents, no scratches.
Premium edition, + ++
14,850 original miles.
How do I go about listing it for sale on this site?
First time posting on here..
Thanks

Under the GS cars for sale section. Good luck, sounds nice!
I've heard people call those corner trees widow makers.
It's a piece of land I'm developing, and I plan on transplanting MORE trees on the corners. S-curve for privacy.
That road took over 100 tons of stone, gravel, and sand ( 7 dump trucks worth).
And yes its very slippery when wet.
Change out the 12V battery again (GS450h). Optima yellow top. Up in the air about recommending this as a hybrid 12V replacement. A little over 2 years and not holding a charge. Not going to complain because it was still under warranty.
Battery died on me, AGAIN, on Monday morning. Hooked it up to a trickle charger overnight.
Next day after getting off a 30min drive on the highway I took it to Oreily's to have the battery/alt tested. Battery tested fine, alternator voltage regulator tested bad. 13v output at idle.
Took it to Auto zone... their tester showed "pass" for everything, so that didn't really steer me anywhere.
I'd assume with modern tech a set of brushes would last a lot longer than 90kmi, but I could be wrong. Time to research all of this I guess and pull the alternator if the manual's procedure tests it to be bad. Which it may since it was only putting out 13v.
And yes, I've already upgraded the network gateway in the glove box per the TSB.
EDIT: Ordered a rebuild kit. Should be here by the weekend and hopefully I'll have some better luck with all of this. Alternator was only putting out 13.4 on the highway with no loads, which is really pretty dinky. Battery was at 11.7 again when I came out from work, same as it was this morning after sitting overnight.

I have the alternator test at a shop somewhere, our cars have a TSV: https://www.tsbsearch.com/Lexus/L-SB-0035-16, the network gateway ecu is the culprit usually. My battery would die after sitting for a couple of weeks, had the dealer look at it and confirm the issue was the TSB.
Wheels finally on. First attempt did not clear brakes. Had to install 10mm spacers. But glad to finally have them on after nearly 3 months of purchasing.
a part of me regrets not going 20’s but the other part still enjoys the smooth ride the gs offers.
